GRIEF WELLNESS

WITH JITE BRUME

COME TO TERMS WITH YOUR GRIEF

Grief and sorrow are inevitable. They enter our lives in many ways, through significant losses like death and divorce or through the cumulative losses that occur in daily life. Amidst the noise and business of our existence, taking the time to work through our grief or creating space to transform through our experienced sorrow can be difficult. This course aims to give participants that time and space.

We'll consider the different ways grief can manifest, provide a safe space for participants to explore their loss, and be equipped with practical tools to manage grief holistically. These tools include movement, meditation and rituals designed to empower you in your healing journey. This is a journey we don't have to take alone. Our course offers a supportive community to walk this path with you.

Although each session will include time for sharing thoughts and feelings, which may be therapeutic, it's important to note that this course is not a substitute for therapy or counselling.

This course will take place over three weekends from the 16th of November until the 30th of November. We will meet on Sunday afternoons and spend two hours at a time together. Jite will provide follow up guidance on an ongoing basis after each gathering.

If you need to tend to your sorrow or support someone grieving, this course is for you.

Jite, a Yoga teacher, Reiki healer, practising architect, and landscape consultant, has taught Yoga and meditation since 2008. Her journey spans Africa, Europe, and Asia, where she has cultivated deep connections with diverse cultures, environments, and the ageless wisdom of Yoga through learning, teaching and creative projects.

A certified Suryashtanga Yoga teacher since 2013, Jite's practice is strongly anchored in the lineage of T. Krishnamacharya, favouring the internal pose over the physical, energy alignments over biomechanics. She has delved into advanced trainings on perinatal and perimenopausal wellness and explored the interplay of energy, mind, and consciousness through Vedic science. Jite has recently completed a 2-year course in Psychosynthesis, an integrative psychology combining Eastern wisdom of the Self with Western knowledge of the unconscious.

As a professional Reiki healer trained in Angelic and Usui traditions across France, Japan, and the UK, Jite integrates gentle energy work with her Yoga practice. Her architectural background and permaculture studies add a rich dimension to her teaching, weaving together the physical, energetic, and environmental aspects of wellbeing.

Jite's work is a fusion of disciplines - an invitation to explore the threads connecting inner and outer landscapes and a celebration of balance, harmony, and the profound beauty of life.
