Summer Solstice

Join us for a beautiful ritual and collective healing in honour of the solstice. The Summer Solstice is a great Festival of Fulfilment, a threshold where rhythms shift from manifestation to celebration. We gather to prepare, to purify pathways and attune ourselves to receive what this peak of light reveals.

With compassion as our theme, we’ll practice holding a wider vision while remaining present to what it is becoming. Together, we will explore this as a state of composure, understanding and open-heartedness to life as it is.

We will work with Angelica as a plant ally, inviting its fiery energy of protection and purification to open us to the radiant energies of this transition. An angelica herbal infusion will be offered to support receptivity, along with other encounters with the plant.

This ritual will include meditative enquiry, sacred sound, Yoga Nidra and Angelic Reiki healing. The Summer Solstice is a collaboration between Yoga Shala Reykjavík and Reykjavík Yoga and will be led by Jite, with assistance from Sandrine and Gefjun.

What is Angelic Reiki? Angelic Reiki is a subtle yet powerful form of energy healing, self-care and transformation. It connects us with intelligent beings of light—facilitators of healing, unbound by space and time. Through intention and presence, this healing field opens to support deep personal and collective transformation.



Jite: Master and practitioner of Angelic and Usui Reiki, and long-time guide in Yoga and energy healing. My work is a fusion of disciplines—an invitation to explore the threads connecting inner and outer landscapes and rooted in a deep longing for wholeness. I believe that healing is both individual and collective.

Gefjun: Mother, mystic, and poet passionate about herbs, yoga, and Reiki. I am an Usui Reiki Master and have been practicing Angelic Reiki with Jite since 2023. I am grateful to join this beautiful team of healers for this special solstice event.

Sandrine: My Reiki journey began with a healing session with Jite that transformed the way I experience myself and the world. Since then, Angelic Reiki has become a path of self-discovery, acceptance and lifelong learning. This healing is a voyage into your soul.
